The project is located in Nemengan province, 280 km east of Uzbekistan's capital city, Tashkent. The total installed capacity of the plant is 900 MW which consists of two blocks (2+2 configuration) each with 450 MW installed power.
To execute the 900 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant Project, Mitsubishi Hitachi Power System (MHPS) and Mitsubishi Cooperation (MC) formed a consortium, where the power island equipment will be supplied by Mitsubishi Hitachi Power System (MHPS) and Mitsubishi Cooperation (MC) and Çalık Enerji is responsible for the general engineering works, supply of BOP equipment (Water treatment, Waste water treatment, Water Intake Structure, Transformers, Switchyard), construction, mechanical and electrical installation works, logistics and BOP commissioning.
