Atlantic Council 2018 Turkey has been held with participation of many energy company officials and important personalities in Istanbul, Swissotel The Bosporus on 19 December.
Energy Investments Director of Çalık Enerji, Hikmet Gökoğlu, attended the event as a speaker in the Renewable Energy Investments in Turkey" forum organized by the USA-based think tank Atlantic Council and the World Energy Council. Deliberating the topics such as Turkey's renewable energy resources, position of these resources in the international market and the overall view of renewable energy in the world in forthcoming period, Hikmet Gökoğlu stated that: “Cost of renewable energy resources is decreasing day by day due to the advancing technology and innovations. In addition, cost optimization will be ensured by integrated use of Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Internet of Things and Smart Networks and thus system efficiency will increase."
Having World Energy Council Vice Director David Livingston as the moderator, the panel had Kalyon Enerji Yatırımları CEO Hakan Yıldırım, Fiba Holding Board Member Murat Özyeğin, European Reconstruction and Development Bank Vice President Şule Kılıç and IC4R Director Matthias Finger as speakers.
