In the project which has been made by the Uzbekistan Ministry of Energy (Uzbekenergo) and financed by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), studies on basic and detailed engineering activities have been completed at the rate of 57%. In the procurement and logistics processes of equipment and materials, 66% progress has been made in coordination with our partner MC (Mitsubishi Cooperation) and MHPS (Mitsubishi Hitachi Power System).
According to the project schedule at the Navoi-2 Project, which has 450 MW power islands; the dates of arrival to the site have been planned as May 2018 for gas turbines, August 2018 for modul of heat recovery steam generator; and for steam turbines on October 2018.
The works for the completion of the power island equipment bases have continued intensively at the Navoi-2 construction site where a total of twelve hundred personnel have been assigned by the end of March 2018. From May 2018, the overall construction and installation activities going to increasingly continue with reaching the system equipment to the site.
In line with the objectives of the project, It is planned to bring about priming of the GT unit on December 2018 and to complete the project on January 2020 .
