Çalık Enerji successfully commissioned the "230 MW Gardabani Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant" in Georgia after completing the EPC construction works and handed the project over to the employer in July 2015. The contract, in which the operation and maintenance works were undertaken for 5 years, expired in September 2016.
In the following period, Çalık Enerji secured the tender regarding the 5-year operation and maintenance works of the plant went out by the employer and undertook these works under the contract dated November 4, 2016.
The implementation period will start after the mobilization of the staff to the plant on December 1, 2016.
This contract will open up a new front with high added value for Çalık Enerji and provide competence and reference for upcoming projects. In addition, it is planned to provide professional support in commissioning, operational and maintenance works for other projects by training new personnel during the commissioning and maintenance of this power plant.
