Çalık Energy undertook the operation of Gardabani 230 MW Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant, which is one of the most significant investments of Çalık Energy in the power sector in the recent period, and took its first step in the Combined Cycle Power Plant Operation!
As a result of successful studies carried out in the construction and operation of Gardabani 230 MW Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant, which was delivered in July 2015, Çalık Energy undertook the Operation and Maintenance Services of the power plant with a new contract on September 15, 2015.
After the completion of the mobilization work carried out by the operations and maintenance team of Çalık Energy the commercial operation was initiated as of September 30, 2015 after meeting the loading demand of the Electricity Distribution and Regulation Authority of Georgia. This contract paved the way for a new field of business and will definitely ensure qualification and reference for future works to be undertaken. At the same time, it is planned train new personnel for the operation and maintenance of this plant and provide professional support for the operation and maintenance works of other future projects.
