Our first turn-key EPC combined cycle power plant, undertaken only by Çalık Energy, commissioning works continue ahead of the program and swiftly.
"Gardabani 230 MW CCPP Project" is a first and therefore is a milestone and also a very important and difficult task for Çalık Energy due to the fact that it is going to be a strong reference to its portfolio. And while approaching to the conclusion of the EPC undertaking process, we have performed the GT-11's first ignition activity successfully on April 14, 2015 with the great efforts of all of our project staff since the beginning if this project and 122 days before the date mentioned in the contract which was signed on February 22, 2015 and was indicated to Mr. Saim and all Çalık Energy Family in an Off-Site meeting that the ignition would be performed on May 2015.
When the 2+1 configuration of two gas turbines (GTG), two waste heat steam boilers (HRSG) and one steam turbine (STG) is completed before the date set with the employer, with the same care and determination, it will provide Georgia 1.8 billion kWh energy.
We hope that it will bring prosperity to our company.
